Esta semana se ha hablado de urbanismo en el ciclo de Excelencia Empresarial que organiza La Voz de Córdoba. Un coloquio que ha congregado a un empresario, Francisco Carmona, secretario general de Construcor; a un doctor en arquitectura, Luis García de Viguera, y al presidente de la empresa municipal de viviendas de Córdoba y de la gerencia de Urbanismo, Salvador Fuentes. Sobre la mesa un asunto de vital importancia para el desarrollo de la ciudades – también de la nuestra- y la vida de sus habitantes: la regeneración de las zonas urbanas que han envejecido frente a la mera rehabilitación, que no deja de ser una medida más superficial.
Un debate en el que hemos sabido que la legislación no favorece, precisamente, el crecimiento de las ciudades y que por tanto, las administraciones y los empresarios se ven obligados a trabajar sobre lo que ya hay edificado. Esto es algo que requiere una coordinada colaboración, aunque también una mayor flexibilidad legislativa para evitar zonas deprimidas, futuros guetos o que haya una carencia de una buena vertebración social entre barrios.
El encuentro, que tuvo lugar el pasado jueves día 29 en el hotel Hospes Bailío de Córdoba, ha sido patrocinado por el Grupo Rosmarino, Grupo Jamsa y Vimcorsa, con la colaboración de Construcor, Asaja Córdoba, Asfaco, Fundación Sebastián Almagro y la Fundación CIAC.
